I’ve written numerous headlines, articles, and cartoons for major brands, including Red Bull, 21st Century Fox, NFL, NBA, MLB, Costco, and more.
Here are a few of my favorite copywriting headlines, concepts, and creative writing that I’ve done for some of these brands.
Red Bull National Coffee Day
The brief for this ad was to create an engaging headline to promote National Coffee Day. The idea was to entice coffee drinkers to have a Red Bull instead of a cup of java.
Here is also an example of how the headlines get perfected. There are several examples, where ultimately Red Bull (the client) decided to use Don’t Have a Frappy Day.
Red Bull Gaming
The headline for this was created for Red Bull gaming. The brief for this ad was to depict how Red Bull can get you to the top of your game when it comes to gaming.
I also designed the visual for this concept, which depicts many defeated video game characters in the background.
*Note: Another illustrator created the final illustration.
Red Bull Gaming
This was a headline and concept created for Red Bull gaming. The brief was to create an animation that depicts how Red Bull can make you a champion gamer.
I came up with the tagline “Player One vs. Player Won” and wrote and sketched the storyboard for the animation.
Red Bull College Hacks
This is an ad that was displayed on college campuses that depicts how Red Bull can help you get through school.
I created the concept of a girl with wings drinking Red Bull and solving a complicated problem.
Red Bull Pac-Man
Red Bull released special edition Pac-Man cans and needed advertising for them. I developed a concept where a Red Bull can is used as the dash in Pac-Man.
This ad appeared in numerous markets and also became an animation where Pac-Man chomped the Red Bull can.
Red Bull at Work
The brief wanted to show how Red Bull can get someone through a busy day. It was geared towards call center positions. This ad features a headline that describes the situation well, along with a visual of a busy day ahead with numerous callers lined up.
